5 to 5K
Take the next step with our 5 minutes to 5Km programme!
Do you know anyone who would like to run but sets off too fast and has to stop for a breather after 5 minutes? SE Fitness 5 to 5 course (5 minutes to 5km) would be PERFECT for them.
We start with a 5 minute run / 1 minute walk and gradually build up each week. We encourage you to run at least twice per week and if you stick at it we’ll have you running at least 5km by the end of the course. We will finish the course with a group ParkRun or timed 5K and coffee to celebrate.
This is a progressive course which is great for anyone new to running or returning after a long absence. Proven success rate! This is the BEST for anyone wanting to build fitness and stamina.
Walk to Run and 5 to 5 start in January, April and September. If you want to join at another time please call Helyn on 07788 628755 and we can see what will be best for you.
How far will I run?
We start on 2.5 miles then gradually progress until most are doing 4 miles by the end of the course. We also help you work on good running technique and pace.
Where will we run?
Generally we use the roads in Sutton Park. On dark evenings we will use the roads that surround the Park. As the course progresses we move on to the trails of Sutton Park (daylight hours).
