Our club competition is not just for the SE Fitness ‘elite’ I’d like to encourage everyone to have a go. Newer runners have the advantage with 5 extra points for your first events at any distance. Also you are much more likely to achieve Personal Bests than those of us who have been running for years!
Have a look at the Grand Prix it’s about encouraging you to support local events, to try something new, to keep you motivated in the coming months. This one is very much about taking part rather than winning!
- The first time for earning points is Draycote Water 10K or 10mile on 9th Feb. An early event for some early motivation!
- Not ready for that? Then on 10th Feb join our ‘Full Moon Run’ through Sutton Park. 5 points for all who take part from C25K, to walkers, to Run plus.
- Beat the February slump – attend 7 sessions in February – 5 points!
- Those of you following our 5to10K programme then I encourage you to sign up for Fradley 10K 8th March Places are already running low so grab your running buddy and sign up now!
At the very least you can join Andre and Nic and send me a photo for the #sefitnessvestchallenge! Those two are currently the Grand Prix Leaders with 5 points each!
