If you want to get into running or back into it if you haven’t been in a while then join our Couch to 5K groups from Monday 25th April.
Here at SE Fitness we have been helping people find the love of running for over 25 years. We are experienced Leaders in Run Fitness are ready to help you take the first steps on your running journey.
We understand it can be scary thinking about joining a running club but we will look after you and give you a warm welcome. It’s not about competition, we never leave anyone behind. It is about encouraging people to get outside, get some exercise and meet new people.
We have Couch to 5K sessions on:
- Mondays 18:30
- Wednesdays 17:00
- Saturdays 08:30
We recommend that new runners aim to run twice a week (and no more than three times). You can mix and match our sessions with getting our on your own or with a buddy. We will help explain what to do. Our Couch to 5K sessions start with a mix of walking and running (more walking than running). We gradually build up time on your feet until you can run for 5K. At this point we have a mass outing to Sutton Park parkrun to celebrate your 5k ‘graduation’!
