Testimonials

I wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the team leaders who were on duty on Saturday on what a wonderful job they did on at the training session for week one of the fun run training programme. To be honest I was dreading the event because recently I’ve been at the back of the group slowing everyone one down but the way the sections were split up it was excellent and allowed all entrants to participate at a suitable level, I ran at a steady pace and walked for 1 minute when I felt the need to which was only twice and to get round in under 60 minutes I was chuffed. A good marker for me was when I saw you at the Jamboree stone the next time I actual walked was a I came out by the bistro. I’m looking forward to this Saturday and the Hill West 4 K run.

I really found the GMFR training sessions beneficial as I had never done a run before. The donation to charity was also a nice touch. I enjoyed the training so much I decided to join SE Fitness and also took part in the Great Birmingham Run training days later in the year.

I would highly recommend the GMFR training sessions with SE Fitness to practice the route on the day, especially cardiac hill! They’re fun, affordable and much more rewarding than training on your own.

The training runs are great to get accustomed to the route and to get used to all those LOVELY HILLS!
