This was a very popular series last winter so Hazel suggested we restart it and introduce some more of our fabulous runners and walkers.

Deb joined SE Fitness during a major global pandemic! What’s your story Deb?
What made you start running?
I started running only because of my friend Michelle.. I’d never ran since i was at school but could see how much she was enjoying it and decided to give it a go.
What do you get out of it?
I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy it or even be able to do it… now I love how it makes me feel, fitter, energised, and meeting lovely people, it has lifted my spirits immensely.
Any plans for the future?
Just to keep doing what I’m doing… not looking to run a marathon or even move onto 10k, but carry on with the 5k and improving my technique.
Do you have a favourite event / walk to recommend?
Am new to running so don’t have any favourite events or walks, but prefer no hills !
