Half Marathon training begins Saturday with a 7 mile route. Run starts at 9.00 join me from 8.15 if it’s your first half marathon and you want to talk it through.
Saturday groups for Walk plus, C25K and 5 to 10K will also go ahead as normal.
The route is quite straightforward we run out of Wyndley and back in at Town Gate for a loop round the Bistro / Hartopp Gate. After that we head past the Donkey Sanctuary to the Jamboree Memorial. From there turn sharp right to run down the road towards the cross roads at the top of Spider Hill. Anyone not wishing to run the full 7 miles takes a short cut here and heads home. Everyone else turns right to run out at Banners Gate and then home along Monmouth Drive.
