Warm welcome to SE regulars and also to Charles, Karl, Sharon, Mark and others who came a long specifically for the long run. We must have had a least half a dozen runners this morning aiming for their first ever half marathon. So exciting to have you along and share your journey with you! Good Luck!

Some of the newer runners asked me for the recommended stretches – I will bring a handout with me next time.
Please remember that if Great Birmingham Run is your aim then our training is a week behind. Please join us every Saturday but on 5th October when we are planning 12 miles you only need to do half of that as a taper run.
