New 2 Running

Am I fit enough?

Can you run for 1 minute without stopping? Try this in the comfort of your own home. If it proves too difficult join one of our Walk Plus groups for a few weeks before you move into Fun 2 Run.


What to wear?

Running shoes or a good pair of trainers. Comfortable sports wear. Well supporting bra – for the ladies!


My First session

Warm up – is on the athletics track prepares you for your run session, helping to avoid injury

Walk & Run according to  your ability – our sessions take place in Sutton Park (nearby roads winter evenings) and vary each week to help build up your stamina and strength to allow progression through our groups at a pace to suit you.

Cool down stretches – back at Wyndley, to reduce heart rate and stretch your muscles after your session.

Chance to ask your leader any questions
