What a day for SE Fitness.
We had almost 500 people come to our Saturday Training Runs. We raised £1200 for a small local Charity – the Sutton Coldfield Stroke Club.
On the day itself SE Fitness had loads out there walking and running. We had runners finishing in less than an hour, walkers over two hours and every single time zone in between.
We had fast ones, thin ones, tall ones, short ones. Some in their tens (George Hope, 63 min), some in their twenties, some thirties, some forties and fifties and some in their sixties (Mark Whilley, 60 minutes). Some running with their kids, some with their dogs. Some runners going for a time others just out there to enjoy it. I know many of you ran for charities close to your own hearts.
For me this is what SE Fitness is all about. All of us out there, getting fitter, supporting each other and giving something back to our local community at the same time.
It makes me feel proud to be part of SE Fitness and hope that you join me in feeling the same.
