Something a bit different this year SE Fitness! An expedition to climb Snowdon! At 3,560 feet Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales. We plan to use the Rhyd Ddu track which is more remote than Llanberis path so hopefully something new even if you have been before.
We are going on Saturday 30th June and plan to use some local professional guides to lead the way. http://www.snowdonia-adventures.co.uk/summer/guided-hiking-snowdonia/
The hike will take around 6 hours. You don’t need to be super fit as we will go at a steady pace but good general fitness means you will get the most out of it. SE Fitness Walkers and Runners welcome.
It’s going to be a full day out with the coach leaving Wyndley at 6.00am, walk starts 9.30 and finishes around 4pm, with a stop for a celebration pub dinner on the way home we expect to be back before 10pm.
The cost of the mountain guide is £35 per person and the coach will be about £20pp depending on final numbers plus your meal in the pub of course!
To book your place on the SE Fitness Snowdon Challenge please pay £20 deposit by Friday 23rd March (usual SE Fitness account).
