SE Fitness Speedwork resumes this week – Wednesday 24th October – on the track at Wyndley at 7.30pm. We will meet there every week from now until our Christmas break.
Speedwork will help improve speed, stamina and stride and as a result will enable you to run faster with less effort during your normal runs. Speedwork experience is great for helping you select your appropriate pace for a given situation. Because it’s tough it also helps you learn to tolerate physical and mental discomforts! I’m not sure that sounds like a great selling point!
What I’m trying to say is that Speedwork can really help improve your running whether you want a PB in your Spring 10K or looking to tackle your first marathon. At SE Fitness we operate an inclusive, fully-supportive atmosphere on the track where all abilities welcome although I recommend you’ve been running for at least one year before giving it a go.
