I was in the park yesterday and noticed that the paths have dried up considerably. The mud we were wrestling through just a month ago is now much firmer. This does, however, raise the risk of trips and we have had a couple of falls recently. I’m glad to report no serious injuries, just bruising, but I would ask you to be careful.
- Keep an eye on where you are running – even a brief second look back to talk to someone can be you’re undoing!
- Pick up your knees and your feet will follow
- Leave some space between you and the person in front.
- Use gates rather than cattle grids
