Here’s the Time Challenge route ready for tomorrow and Saturday. Leaders will be on the course with you and on Saturday we will mark the route with arrows.
Written Description
- Start on the line near the visitor centre.
- Run downhill towards Wyndley ford and there carry straight on slightly uphill.
- Enter the wood and at the bend towards the end of the wood take a very sharp right turn onto bumpy tarmac (head downhill)
- T – junction turn right again.
- T-junction(you are now at the bottom of Spider Hill) turn left and run all the way to the top of Spider hill (worst bit).
- At the gate / crossroads at the top turn right and follow the road all the way down and up again to the Jamboree Memorial.
- Here take a right then right again now run downhill back towards Keepers Pool.
- Stay on the road do not turn off and it will bring you up and down and past the donkey sanctuary until you come to the cross roads near the Visitor Centre.
- Here take second right so that you rejoin the road you started on and back to the finish.
