As many of you will have read Wyndley Leisure Centre is now managed by a private company rather than Birmingham City Council. The good news is that I’ve met with the new manager and I’m confident that SE Fitness will continue to be able to meet at Wyndley and enjoy all the benefits that we enjoy now such as the track, parking, toilets and, of course, Costas!
Inevitably we will have to change with the times as the reception area is due to be refurbished but I’ll keep you up to date with the details when I have them.
In the meantime there are a couple of things we can do to help:
- SE Fitness I know we’re a social lot but sometimes at our busy sessions it does get very noisy in reception so please try to keep the noise down or why not catch up outside instead?
- The car park is getting very busy particularly evenings and Saturday mornings so please car share or travel by other means if possible. Alternatively it’s often as convenient to park in Sutton Park and walk through.
